When should you take pre-workout?
Most brands recommend taking pre-workout 20 to 30 minutes before starting exercise (or a study session). This amount of time gives the ingredients a chance to hit your bloodstream and fully kick in. Taking it closer to your workout may lead to side effects as it starts to absorb.
