Noah Ohlsen qualified for his 10th consecutive CrossFit Games by finishing seventh at the 2023 North America East Semifinal. Ohlsen started his Games prep and is eyeing a podium finish at the 17th edition of the sport’s premiere contest, scheduled for Aug. 1-6, 2023, in Madison, WI.

The veteran CrossFit athlete has a keen understanding of how his body responds to nutrition and training; the result is his sculpted physique and consistently high finishes in elite CrossFit contests. On Jun. 25, 2023, Ohlsen published a video on his YouTube channel, wherein he shared a full day of eating leading up to the 2023 CrossFit Games. Check it out below:

Noah Ohlsen’s 2023 CrossFit Games PrepDiet

Here is the CrossFit veteran’s diet leading up to the 2023 CrossFit Games:

Breakfast

  • Overnight oats — one cup
  • Peanut butter — one tablespoon
  • Honey crisp apple
  • Two chicken maple sausage
  • English muffin
  • Strawberry jam — one tablespoon
  • Banana or mango
  • Coffee

Macros

  • Fats — 35 grams
  • Carbs — 220 grams
  • Protein — 76 grams
  • Calories — 1,460

Ohlsen typically wakes up around 8 a.m. and drinks a cold glass of water. His first meal is a hearty breakfast, of which he appeared to eyeball his portion sizes. He will weigh his food when he begins a stricter diet closer to the Games.

In addition to performing the best that I can…I would also like to be the most jacked dude at the CrossFit Games.

The CrossFit Games athlete adds frozen berries, 200 milliliters of low-fat oat milk, a tablespoon of peanut butter and strawberry jam, a scoop of whey protein, and a tablespoon of honey to his overnight oats. Ohsen also drinks a protein-infused coffee.

2023 CrossFit Games

Ohlsen’s career highlight is a runner-up finish at the 2019 CrossFit Games to five-time Fittest Man on Earth® Mat Fraser. The stakes are high for Ohlsen for the 2023 CrossFit Games, as he previously revealed that it will likely be his last season competing as an Individual athlete.

Expect Ohlsen to be in the mix toward the top of the field, as he has never finished worse than 15th at the Games and only finished outside the top 10 twice.
