The 2022 Strengthlete Collective Clash on the Coast contest released its competition schedule on April 13, 2022. The strongman and strongwoman contest is scheduled for April 22-24, 2022, and will feature under-105-kilogram (U105KG) strongmen battling in preliminary and finals stages, U82KG strongwomen competing in an invitational competition, and a Record Breakers event.

The 2022 Clash on the Coast will take place at the Beach House Resort in Hilton Head, SC. The U105KG competition will be streamed on ESPN 2 and ESPN 3. Here is the full schedule for the three-day competition below:

2022 Clash on the Coast Schedule

  • Friday, April 22, 2022 — Clash on The Coast: Record Breakers | 7 p.m. EST on ESPN2
  • Saturday, April 23, 2022 — Clash on the Coast Middle Weight (U105KG) Men’s Final | 3 p.m. EST on ESPN3

  • Sunday, April 24, 2022 — Clash on the Coast U82KG Women’s Invitational | 10 a.m. Live-Stream on ADL Live

2022 Clash on the Coast event organizer and two-time U105KG World’s Strongest Man (WSM) Anthony Fuhrman joined Laurence “Big Loz” Shahlaei on Shahlaei’s YouTube channel to break down the schedule, the plan for the Record Breakers event, and additional details for the competition weekend. 2022 Clash on the Coast Prize Pool

For the first time in any contest that features both strongman and strongwomen competition, the strongwoman prize pool is larger than the strongman prize pool. Here is the complete prize structure:

U82KG Strongwomen

  • First Place — $12,000
  • Second Place — $5,000
  • Third Place — $3,000

U105KG Strongman

  • First Place — $10,000
  • Second Place — $3,000
  • Third Place — $2,000

As Fuhrman mentioned in his interview with Shahlaei, the strongwomen prize pool being larger than the strongman prize pool is due to how the event sponsors opted to allocate their funds.
