The 2022 World’s Strongest Man (WSM) contest will take place from May 24-29, 2022, in Sacramento, CA. It will feature the top strongman in the world vying for the most coveted title in the sport. On March 4, 2022, the first 10 confirmed athletes on the 2022 WSM roster were announced. On March 27, 2022, the final athlete was confirmed.

Qualifying Groups
The Groups for the Qualifying Stage of WSM were announced on May 21, 2022. There are six athletes in five groups, and only the top athletes in each group will advance to the Finals. In 2021, the winner of each group went to the Finals. Each group’s second and third-place finishers battled in a Stone-Off, and the victor advanced to the Finals.
